LifeStore Insurance is a growing independent insurance agency with a network of six offices throughout northwestern North Carolina. The operation began in 1997 when AF Bank of West Jefferson acquired insurance agencies in West Jefferson and North Wilkesboro. From there the agency expanded dramatically as locations in Lenoir, Elkin, Boone and Sparta were added over the next five years. Today, AF Bank--now known as LifeStore Bank, with six branch offices, and AF Insurance-- now known as LifeStore Insurance, altogether boast over 120 employees.
LifeStore Bank also offers investment services that are available to all its customers.
